Hi everyone! I'm quite a noob when it comes to recording in 60fps, thus I would like to ask you guys a question. If I wanted to record a game in 60fps, let's say Skyrim. It's capped at 60fps and I heard that if I turn off Vsync the game goes crazy. So my question is does my game have to CONSTANTLY be at exactly 60fps? Let's say I get a drop to 50fps will I be unable to make it a 60fps video? Thanks! 😀

Solution
PCs pretty much NEVER render exactly at 60 FPS, since games are going to vary significantly over time. Your recording software will just duplicate/drop extra frames as needed. Essentially, you are recorded what gets sent to the display, rather then what the game is internally rendering, so there shouldn't be a problem.

Solution
it will still be a 60fps video just not showing 60fps if that makes sense. Like the video will all be 60fps if that is how you record it even if ur game isnt at 60fps. But if your game isnt at 60fps then the video will be in 60fps but look like 50fps. Thats hard to explain, hope I did it well.

Thank you so much friend, cheers! :)
