I´ve found this deck on thelasombra and have a uqestion ¡does legios
could actually do that as long as Agaitas ability says when you play a
card, not when discard it???

Deck Name: A Legion of Temptation
Created By: The Lasombra
Description: Bring Agaitas into play. Play 2 Serpentis Discipline cards
on him. Have him play Temptation on himself, and also play Legion when
it comes into hand. Once you have both in place, replace all of your
cards from your prey's library, then take the Legion action to flush
those cards and start over with a hand you can use. Play Meddling of
Semsith on anyone, just get it to pass to reduce your hand size to 6.

I think you're mis-reading the deck idea.

The idea, it seems, is that once you have all the set-up ready, you
should play any cards and replace them from your prey's library. Just
normal playing of cards - ignore Legion for now.

Then, when you have a hand of your prey's cards, use the Legion to
discard your hand (and create a vampire etc.) and get a new one *from
your own library*.

End result: you're wasting your prey's library, and being able to
discard them very quickly to prevent you getting a hand of rubbish cards
that you have to discard one-by-one.

The refill from Legion doesn't come from your prey's library.

I'm still kinda confused...

- What's with the Temptation?
- Why the Meddling?
- How does it oust?

Unre has Serpentis, and all of the discipline cards (used to make
Legion babies) are Serpentis. Use Temptation to steal away your
prey's vampires, then bleed 'em out.

I don't know. Why not?

> - How does it oust?

Make lots of Legion babies. Tempt your prey's vampires away.
Bleed 'em out.

'Cause it makes your hand size 6. Making it that much easier to spend your
whole hand and redraw from your prey's library.

I think is more to get a free untap in the midle game, puting hinself
on agaitas early in the game while the conditions come for the trick.

And, of course, for the ultimate-multi-legion-untappy goodness.

I'd say a bit of both. If you have some tasty vampires you can steal,
use some for them. If you need some untap goodness (and are spending a
lot of blood, maybe, to make it more usable), use it for that instead.

Very much a case of a good card needing a skilled player to make the
"right" decision.

Yeah. It does rely on your prey having a reasonably good offensive deck
to do such things, though.

For example, a handful of light intercept/combat isn't going to do you
that much good - you can't use the intercept during your own turn, and
they're unlikely to block you if you bleed them if they want their
vampire back. Or a heavy master deck. Or a deck that uses some key
master cards to support it - like a Lasombra deck that passes votes with
some breeding fatties (who you decide not to Tempt, because they're
huge) and a Power Structure - so even when you get the weenies, maybe
even with a Crusade or two, you're probably significantly outgunned
anyway.

Of course, if you had a hand of stealth-bleed to throw at them with
Ozmo, go crazy, knock yourself out.

But I'd still say there's a case here for a good player knowing - or
finding out - what's best to do.

and, um, if you have a handful of your prey's library cards, and you
can tempt one of your prey's vampires...presumably you'll be able to
do whatever it is _your_ prey does to oust _their_ prey, using their
cards instead of your own, and doing it to them instead of their prey.
