A question about emulators

Hi. I have a few Xbox 360 games I want to play on my computer but I'm not sure if having an emulator will allow me to put the games in my DVD reader and play them.

So do I have to have them downloaded to my computer or can I have the disk in the CD/DVD reader and play them that way?

One more quick questions, can any emulator play any game for the system it's meant for or are there a few games it can play?

you can find a used xbox 360 for as low as $40 if you are lucky ... no need to go the emulator road at all if you have the dvds as you have said.
