A question about EVGA's Precision X

So I'm playing GTA V and when I use fraps it shows 90+ fps with dips as low as 77 and highs up to 120. However, when I use the osd from precision x it shows higher fps over 200 with dips to about 120. Any ideas on what's up?

Fraps has been know to introduce a lot of performance-killing overhead. May be that Precision has a lighter footprint.

What is your system setup and resolution? From benchmarks I've seen, the FRAPs numbers sound more realistic.

It does seem more realistic but why are the Precision X numbers so high then.
