A question about my Mobo's USB ports?

Hello

I am boulding a PC and I bought an ASUS h81m-a. The things it that my keyboard works via USB. Will it work while its installing windows?

What i'm trying to ask is if the mobo will recognize the keyboard without the SO installed so i can use it to navigate the BIOS in order to install the so.

Which version of Windows? but generally yes. a usb 2.0 would work.

Use one of the USB2.0 ports to be safe. Some boards need the Windows USB3.0 driver installed before the board will recognize the USB3.0 ports. But I suspect that board is fully USB3.0 aware anyway.
