Just out of curiosity, can you run both your OS and apps/games on the same SSD? Also, how much space should you allow for your OS? (presuming it's Windows 8.1)

Solution
Yes, an SSD functions just like any other hard disk.

Keep in mind that by default, all your programs want to install to your OS Install drive, so you'll have to be mindful when installing new programs.

From the Microsoft website:

Windows 8.1 and Windows 8 require a minimum of 16 gigabytes (GB) of space.

I have a 120G SSD, and it's enough for my OS and 1 big game (8 - 10 Gb)
