A question about the corsair HX1000 PSU

Hello guys, ive got a question regarding the powersupply from corsair, the model is HX1000.

ive just got the box and looked at it, and, when i looked at the 24pin powerconnector, (only 23 have cables in them, 1 is empty, is this how the connector should be or is mine wrong from the factory


is your HX1000 the same in this matter,

much apreciated for someeasy and clean conclusion...

-5v is no longer a part of the ATX standard, hasn't been included on most power supplies in a while.
