Hello there,
Since I have never really paid it much attention I am coming to you with a question I had since paying a bit closer attention to my PC.
Does the graphic card mentioned above have the ability or feature to use one fan only? The reason I am asking is that under a normal load just one fan is spinning. I first thought the other one maybe broken or obstructed. However I cleaned the GPU unit thoroughly with compressed air and can not make out any obstructions. I then used the hardware monitor program to check and the fan is working fine once I increase the load of the GPU. It starts spinning fine and matches the speed of the first fan fine. Temperature also remains constant for the GPU with one fan, not going above 60 degrees, which is it's normal temp when running.
I might be worrying for nothing but I thought I'd ask just the same.
