It would be easier to clone the raid 1 to an image(using imaging software). And then put that image on another raid 1 array. Or just back the data up, and restore it to the other raid
Basicly just clone everything that is on a server and to transfer everything over to another server while also enabling a raid1 array on the second server.
The servers are for the same model, so i figure there could be some hardware variation if the manufacturer might make some small changes, and that is prolly the only driver issue that could be a problem? And yea it is and OS drive. And how would i go about splitting up the one image into the raid array?
Well, we're trying to shorten the install of OS, configuration of applications, etc. Right now it can take from 2.5 - 5 hours hours to complete setup for a new server and would like to significantly reduce that time.
