A quick ram question

Solution
CAS latency or CL is effectively the number of clock cyles it takes to complete an action, lower means less cycles, faster - voltage depends on the set of sticks, to a degree the platform, freq and mobo
Hey thanks again. What voltage would you recommend with the ASRock Z77 Extreme4 LGA 1155?Thanks

Thanks. I have 2 more random questions for you. I want a card reader, a hard drive, and an optics reader, what bay slots do I need (size and in/external). Secondly, can I convert different drives into different drives (internal to external and different sizes).Any good case recommendation?

Also, what is the timing on ram? What is good and what is bad?And what is ecc?

Going to have to start charging extra here 😉 card readers and optical drives normally come in 5 1/4 external opening bays (2), regular harddrives (platter type) normally take 3 1/2 internal drive bays...and also in case your are thinking of the next question most SSDs are 2 1/2" form factor and many cases will have a bay or two for them of you can get adapters for them to fit a 3 1/2 drive bay (some SSDs come with an adapter - bet you didn't know I was psychic, did you 😉
