Trying to do a build for my friend, components are:
MSI z170a SLI PLUS
i5 Intle 6600k CPU
Asus GTX 1070 GPU
Windows 7 64 bit home premium
Corsair RM 750i PSU
16GB DDR4 Ram
Samsung SSD EVO 250 GB
Trying to download windows 7 from a USB. Each time I do this error pops up https://www.ava.co.uk/media/44098/installation%20error.png
I have gone and changed the boot order and made the USB Key the first boot option. I have read about changing the USB from 3.0 to 2.0, but no where in my bios do I see an option where I can do this. I have also done the tricks of trying to move the thumb drive to different USB ports in a desperate attempt as well. Would it be best to simply burn the download to a CD and installing it on the new computer? If anyone happens to know of a solution please let me know, it would be much appreciated, thank you!
