If you are installing Windows 7 from USB thumbdrive (not from CD/DVD), then this error is caused by missing USB 3.0 drivers.
On your motherboard all USB ports (black 2.0 and blue 3.0) appear as USB 3.0 ports to software. Default Windows 7 installation media lacks USB 3.0 drivers. Hence the error. To fix this error, you need to integrate USB 3.0 drivers to Windows 7 installation media.
Also please note that your motherboard has two different USB controllers (Intel and ASMedia). You need to integrate USB 3.0 drivers for both of them.
You can do driver integration either using ASUS EZ Installer or FlashBoot Pro. Both tools come with Intel and ASMedia USB 3.0 drivers prepackaged.
