A call is coming through as restricted number, mocking me, cursing at me and knows my name. I hung up but they called back imeidiatly (I did not pick up and no message left). Due to a domestic situation I do have calls that are reasonably going to show up restricted, however the harassing restricted calls I would like to identify and record for safety reasons. Any suggestions?

Call your phone company immediately after the caller calls you, and tell them. They have access to the numbers of restricted callers, and while they can't tell you the number, they can block it.

Just google "phone call recorder" There are a huge variety of devices.

Depending on where you are, there might be legal issues with that. Some areas require the consent of both people before you're allowed to record the call, and even in those that don't, you may be in trouble if someone else uses your phone and they don't know it's bugged.

Your safety is the most important priority here. You should contact the authorities if you are receiving harassing messages. The police will walk you through their process. They will work with your provider to handle the situation.
