A Seagate 1 TB Expansion Drive Question

I have a Seagate 1TB Expansion drive.....I am moving 7 months of my desk top picture folders that are around 5 gb and that are monthly named as "June 2015 July 2015" one by one to the Seagate Expansion drive.....Thats going Ok and Seagate tech support told me that i can not set them in order like they were on the desk top January 2015 February 2015 March 2015 April 2015 ect.....Isn't their a way to get around that l so i can have my photo files set in a monthly order in the Seagate Expansion drive?......Thank to all who help me.

So are they in folders? You should be able to sort by the name of the folder or by the date created in Windows explorer...

Yes they are in Named By Months folders...... will windows EXPLORER manage the files/ folders in the Seagate Ex HD.......?

Yes Explorer will do it. The drive just sends the files to explorer, and explorer displays and sorts them. The drive has no part in displaying or filtering files.
