Hello
My configuration->
Core I7 3770K
Asrock Extreme 4
Corsair Vangeance 4GB x2 RAM
Seagate barracuda 1TB HDD
Samsung 840 SSD 120GB
Corsair Tx850M Power Supply
Cooler Master 690 2 Plus Cabinet
ATI sapphire 7950 vector-x boost edition 3gb graphics card

Actually, i just got some games that seem to run only on physx (like mass effect 3 and some more). Although the games are torrent downloaded, they ask for physx. This causes crashing and stuff.
since i already have a powerful gpu, i would still like to buy a cheap nvidia so as to run such physx only games while still usib my ati as primary.
gso please tell me some real cheap nvidia gpu for this purpose. i dont want anything fance, just a real cheap. Actually, i was thinking if it's possible that the physx calculations are done by nvidia gpu while other graphical calculations are done by my amd, so please recommend me a gpu for this purpose.

I just closed the tab that had it open, but there was an update Nvidia released that unblocked ATI cards. It was TL;DR material, though.

I'm not so sure this works any longer?

They have updated the info:
http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/the-dedicated-physx-card-faq-read-this-before-asking-any-questions.135891/

Personally, I wouldn't rely on someone's hack as they are usually temporary solutions. Any driver updates can mess with the functionality.

Actually, it's not like i can turn off settings.
The thing is, the games dont even start! They first give error "physx libraries were not found on this pc". Then when i even install physx (just for a try), games just give black screen/some physx error and crash.
And i have seen videos on YouTube with people running amd with nvidia physx.
That's why i am asking.
Please tell me what nvidia gpu to buy.

Personally I'm the same way. I don't want to rely on hacks or modifications. I'd like to have something that would be a permanent solution.

To the OP, see if you can turn off PhysX in your games. If you cannot, or if you still have sluggish performance, you're going to have to modify the game engines. I had to do this with "Alice, Madness Returns". I had to find the game engine located in my documents and edit some values, so you can try and do this with a game or two.

Well lets take a look at that error message.

You can try this...

I don't see anything about a PhysX library error message, even when I Google it.

How To Fix Physxloader.dll Errors

Important: Do not download physxloader.dll from a "DLL download" website. There are many reasons why downloading a DLL file is a bad idea. If you need a copy of physxloader.dll, it's best to obtain it from its original, legitimate source.
Note: Start Windows in Safe Mode to complete any of the following steps if you're unable to access Windows normally due to the physxloader.dll error.

Restore physxloader.dll from the Recycle Bin. The easiest possible cause of a "missing" physxloader.dll file is that you've mistakenly deleted it.

If you suspect that you've accidentally deleted physxloader.dll but you've already emptied the Recycle Bin, you may be able to recover physxloader.dll with a free file recovery program.

Important: Recovering a deleted copy of physxloader.dll with a file recovery program is a smart idea only if you're confident you've deleted the file yourself and that it was working properly before you did that.

Run a virus/malware scan of your entire system. Some physxloader.dll errors could be related to a virus or other malware infection on your computer that has damaged the DLL file. It's even possible that the physxloader.dll error you're seeing is related to a hostile program that's masquerading as the file.

Use System Restore to undo recent system changes. If you suspect that the physxloader.dll error was caused by a change made to an important file or configuration, a System Restore could solve the problem.

Reinstall the program that uses the physxloader.dll file. If the physxloader.dll DLL error occurs when you use a particular program, reinstalling the program should replace the file.

Important: Try your best to complete this step. Reinstalling the program that provides the physxloader.dll file, if possible, is a likely solution to this DLL error.

Update the drivers for hardware devices that might be related to physxloader.dll. If, for example, you're receiving a "The file physxloader.dll is missing" error when you play a 3D video game, try updating the drivers for your video card.

Note: The physxloader.dll file may or may not be related to video cards - this was just an example. The key here is to pay very close attention to the context of the error and troubleshoot accordingly.

Roll back a driver to a previously installed version if physxloader.dll errors began after updating a particular hardware device's driver.

Run the sfc /scannow System File Checker command to replace a missing or corrupt copy of the physxloader.dll file. If this DLL file is provided my Microsoft, the System File Checker tool should restore it.

Install any available Windows updates. Many service packs and other patches replace or update some of the hundreds of Microsoft distributed DLL files on your computer. The physxloader.dll file could be included in one of those updates.

Test your memory and then test your hard drive. I've left the majority of hardware troubleshooting to the last step, but your computer's memory and hard drive are easy to test and are the most likely components that might cause physxloader.dll errors as they fail.

If the hardware fails any of your tests, replace the memory or replace the hard drive as soon as possible.

Repair your installation of Windows. If the individual physxloader.dll file troubleshooting advice above is unsuccessful, performing a startup repair or repair installation should restore all Windows DLL files to their working versions.

Use a free registry cleaner to repair physxloader.dll related issues in the registry. A free registry cleaner program may be able to help by removing invalid physxloader.dll registry entries that might be causing the DLL error.

Important: I rarely recommend the use of registry cleaners. I've included the option here as a "last resort" attempt before the destructive step coming up next.

Perform a clean installation of Windows. A clean install of Windows will erase everything from the hard drive and install a fresh copy of Windows. If none of the steps above correct the physxloader.dll error, this should be your next course of action.

Important: All the information on your hard drive will be erased during a clean install. Make sure you've made the best attempt possible to fix the physxloader.dll error using a troubleshooting step prior to this one.

Troubleshoot for a hardware problem if any physxloader.dll errors persist. After a clean install of Windows, your DLL problem can only be hardware related.

I get following error while trying to play dark sector (torrent by rg mechanics, just in case lol). The thing is I only buy newer and hd games from steam (like now, the game should be atleast made in 2012 and must have good graphics). Others I download from torrent.
Though I am able to play spec ops the last line (which is based on unreal engine, an engine that mostly uses physx, though I am not sure if this game uses physx or not, but it runs without any probs).
Error Screenshot:

When I run the game, it only gives black screen with nothing appearing, then I alt+tab it and on desktop this error is being displayed.
And please note: I did not install physx software, since I thoug it would be useless, but now I will give a try and update here the result.

EDIT:
ok, I downloaded physc 9.13 from nvidia's official website. My OS is win 8.1 pro x64 ofcourse. At first, the results are same (black screen, then alt-tab gives the error message physx liberaries not found, even if i installed physx). But this time, when I clicked ok, another error message appeared which did not appear earlier. Screenshot:

EDIT 2: Problem Solved!!
Download and install physx version 9.10.0.513.
That will work, newer versions somehow dont work.
