A small AIO size conundrum

I have a Storm Styker, the old one, that I'm planning on putting my new skylake build into. I ran into a porblem with slecting an AIO cooler. I wanted the NZXT Kraken X62 but the case is weird with its 300cm clearance for the top fan mounts. I could in theory get an new case, or I could go for the X52 instead. Which opinion is the the "better" one, if you don't mind a reason too?

Uses: Gaming, light to heavy modding. Occasional school work

Budget: Under 500$ for the AIO. Under 300$ for the case

Can't you place radiator in the front of the case ? If set as intake that arraignment works pretty good.

Tubes arent long enough. Atleast by my measurements

Kraken x62 is a 280 mm rad. The specs say the top of your case has 2x140mm fan mounts. Sounds like it works? Or is there not enough thickness for the rad and fans before it hits the mobo?

I went and actually measured it. I have read multiple times, that that particular case has weird fan mount sizes.
I will check again.

All fans and radiators have same screw hole spread according to their size, soa any case made for 140mm fans would have same mounts.

Also note that 140mm is the fan diameter, not the screw spacing.
