I have built a smaller desktop and wanted just a single SSD for it.
So my thoughts are if I am buying new drives to just pull the WD Blue 500 GB from my main PC to use in the other PC and get my main PC as fast and reliable as I can.
What I am looking at is:
Evo 860 500GB SSD to run windows and small programs on
and
WB Black 1TB for games and other used programs.

Would those 2 drives be a good match? Im just looking for reliable and best speed I can get at a fair price.

Thoughts please.

Why not just using the SSD for all apps and games?

If you're about to install many games, you may consider make two partitions on the hdd and using first partition to install games onto.
