A speck of thermal paste got stuck on i7 6700k pin ( on the bottom side )

I cleaned it off with a qtip and ISO propyl alcohol , am I good to go or am I screwed ? What's the solution ?

As far as I know intel CPUs dont have pins on them. They are on the motherboard. Nevertheless if you didn't bend any of them, and they are absolutely clean, you should be fine.

Yes there are no pins , I meant the bottom side , I cleaned it , but there is a slight shade on the cleansed spot and it is not getting off even after an hour , should i plug in ? Or should try to do something else.

I honestly do not know what you should do now. What is the thermal paste you used? Basically you want to know if it is conductive or not.

It's a thermal compound remover. Give it a try.
