Question A speed issue

Hi there community! I'm gonna keep it simple.

I've owned a single 8gb HyperX Fury
HX316C10FB/8

Recently I bought a second one to upgrade to dual channel and ofc to get 16gb. Problem is I bought the exact same module but the 1800mhz version while i had the 1600 one.

I've read that the new stick will automatically downclock to match the slower one. Question is:
If I overclock the 1600 stick to 1800 will it solve this little issue?
