Question A Strange Black Pixel has appeared on my monitor only when my PC display is on, not otherwise.

I have an Acer LCD monitor that I use both for my PC and my PS4. Earlier today, a black pixel with a surrounding, "shadow," appeared on my monitor. I assumed it was just a dead pixel but interestingly, I can cover it up with my cursor, and screenshots capture it. Additionally, when I switch the display to my PS4 the dot/line disappears, does anyone know what to do?

Maybe its your PC, the connector may be broken.

Do you know what program you were using when it first appeared? Does the pixel persist on your desktop/web pages?
