He comes from MS County.. perhaps this lack of testing awareness is a regional thing...

Actually, MS did turn me down for a testing position because I didn't have hardware experience written on my resume.

"What kind of hardware experience did you need?" "Swapping out video cards and sound cards. That sort of thing." "But I do that. Every. Single. DAY!" "Sorry, but we already hired someone else."

Thus ended my elementary school dreams of playing video games for a living. 🙁
