A virus has administrator rights over me, i cannot delete it.

So today i was being ignorant and downloaded software which is turning out to be a virus, it downloaded a bunch of things which i was able to delete some of it but there is 2 folders which have admin over me so i cannot delete them. I'm on Windows 7 ultimate. What can i do?

you can boot to safe mode and do a scan from a usb stick

In most cases I will just wipe the drive and start over.....but that assumes you have a proper backup. This way you get a nice clean install too.

In safe mode, see if you can't use system restore to reset back to a point when all was well.

Use another computer to make a rescue disc, such as Kaspersky's (free) and boot from that. It'll ignore any existing permissions issues on the unit and ideally remove or cripple the virus.

Of course, being careful where you download software, and where required, paying for legal copies would be suggested in future to avoid this.
