A virus that makes sd card write protected

I had my sd card working fine until i connected it to a friends laptop and since then i can't copy or delete files from it. tried using SDFormatter tool but it can't format because whenever i try it says card is write protected. Its not the adapter beacause i made sure the lock is up. (I tried it both ways though). I also tried on different adapters but the problem is still there. Scanned it with avast and it detects a virus, i remove it but it comes back again every time. Is there a solution to this virus? Or should i dump my sd card?

If it came back everytimes then it infected your comp.... u will need do deep scan of your comp....

edit: u might wanna tried another scanner or online scaner.....
