Question A water drop occurred on new RAM

I installed it and it worked

Only contacts are vulnerable but if it dried before install, no harm.

I dried it with a cloth. Does that work?

should be fine but only use microfiber lint free cloths as lint can cause a static charge and damage sensitive components.

though if any water gets on anything in future i would dry it and then wait a few hours after incase there is any moisture in the pcb.
