So, I have a pc in the house in a section of my house that is relevant of staying there. Right now I have a monitor there but its a useless place to be. So I want to somehow get the display and use the pc without moving it to another room, since the other room won't have space for it. How would I do this? Like there is a way of buying something like the Elgato thunderbolt 2 dock where i can connect usb-c from the pc to the dock and display from the dock using hdmi but its very price-yyy. So is there a way around this? (any ideas are fine, good or not ill use the knowledge for a work around if possible) thanks in advance! :)

You could run a long HDMI and a USB extension cable and move just the display, keyboard and mouse to the room you want (easier if the rooms are adjacent) The HDMI would connect directly into your GPU and the USB to the motherboard. If the keyboard and mouse are wireless (like logitech makes) you can get away with a single cable for the 2. If wired, it will probably take 2.

This is assuming I am understanding your question.

My brother has his computer in his bedroom and has long cables into his livingroom (through the adjoining wall) and uses his TV as his monitor, with his wireless keyboard and mouse.
