A way to protect my U2410

I recently bought U2410,i am satisfied with its performance.

but I see a blemish on my screen today ,I know I need a way to protect the lovely screen now?any suggestion?

screen protector?screen filter? screen guard?

the newegg ones are too expensive,aren't they?

The screen protectors that newegg carries does not seem overly expensive to me. However, it doesn't seem they carry something for 24" or larger monitors.

I did find the Green Onions Supply RT-SPB1024 for $43.50, but I'm guessing you find that a bit expensive.

Have you considered spaying on a layer of Scotchgard?

even with a screen protector on your monitor you will still have to on-occassion clean your screen to remove any dust, dirt, smudges. you will also need to blow out the back of the monitor at the same time. the only thing a screen protector will accomplish is provide a slight barrier against any sort of fingernail scratching, etc. but not much protection against any blunt impacts. even with a protector liquid is still an issue and you shouldnt assume a screen shield will help. in general, dont touch your screen & clean it every few weeks and you should be fine. remember when cleaning you shouldnt apply too much pressure or use anything but a slightly damp soft cloth.
