Hey guys!

I have just got a friend's build contains:
i5 10400 (2.9GHz)
Asus Prime H410M-E
2 x Kingston 8GB 2666MHz

My current setup is pretty much the same, except my CPU is 4590 (3.3 GHz) with Gigabyte H97-HD3

I mainly work with Cubase 12 and variety of VST plugins and I wonder if the newer one would have much overall power on my 4590?

I guess im asking if "the-move" to the other system worth?

Thanks alot!

Its just that I have tons of information and huge plugins so to really check it I would have to move everything, but according to you guys answers I guess it worth it so I would give it a shot.

A 4th gen 4590 to a 10th gen 10400 (or later)

Yes...huge difference for that use.

Do note that you'll need to do a full reinstall with the new CPU/motherboard.
This includes all your applications and plugins...😉
