a wire question

Hi I have a very simple pcmcia 3com Megahertz Lan + Modem
10/100 anyway what I need is this wire that one end connects to a card and another end connects to phone cable. Can anyone tell me whats this cable called? or where to find it

I believe what you are after is the modem dongle cable. You best bet for that would probably be ebay, I don't think those dongles are sold separatly anywhere. It might be cheaper just to buy a whole new card though. Just look for 3com dongle on ebay.

Check with 3Com. They sell them. I lost mine and they replaced it for free (still under warranty). You may have to purchase one. If you get someone nice, they will tell you to ship the card to them and the replacment will have the dongle/pigtail.

you can just make your own with Cat5... strip and take the Browns and use those for Phone adn the rest for data.
