Hello.

I have problem with overheating on a10-5800k. When i run the system - computer the temperature in bios shows around 57°. And computer has just been turned on. I have in computer 2 fans. 1 fan on cpu and 1 in case. I have applied on new thermal paste AK - 455. And didn't put to much of paste on it. Beacuse i have done that many times i wouldn't think its the problem in the thermal. Both of fans are working correctly speed is about 3.000 - 5.000 MAX. I cannot set none of fans speed. Even in bios i got option for it. That if it works on silence or normal. And its pretty on normal and its no diffrence even if it is on manualy. I hope we will find solution and i am so sorry for my bad english.
There are my specs:

Hello i have forgot to type in i have tested in bios, program speccy and hwinfo (hardware info) where shows the same temp here is the img from hardware info but i will try with coretemp also.

EDIT: Image from the CoreTemp:

"CPU 0" might be your actual CPU Core temperature. You will have to cross-reference with other programs to be sure.

However, 1.469 volts is a hefty amount, and I see that your processor is running at 4.2 ghz. That looks like you are overclocked. Are you using the stock heatsink and fan on the processor? If so, that could also explain the overheating.

Yes i am using stock heatsink and a fa on the procesor all tighted up. But overclocked i've set many times on bios on defeault settings i am going deff. check that 😱!

And speccy and hardware info shows the same temp so i think its pretty much true.

EDIT: In bios was enabled function: Enable turbo mode. But still the temp. its the nearly same.

Quick edit: I have seen my core speed doesn't move anywhere and its standing still as seen on image. Even i have loaded now again on defeault settings?

Yes it has gone down for a 10 C about

That's good, at least there is some consistency with your readings.

Judging from the (limited) data you gave me, I think the "CPU 0" is your CPU Core temperature, and your "CPU 0 Package" is the CPU Socket temperatures. To confirm this, we'd still need need to cross-reference our data with another working temperature monitoring program. (Core Temp appears to be borked.)

If CPU 0 is your CPU Core temperature, you have good temperatures. As long as it does not get above 74C, you'll be okay.

Hello i will make screen prints from 3 diffrent programs and based on that we can see oh not mention in bios shows the same temp when i start it up.. i will picture that to check please post again in 5 min

Hey i have turned few turbos off and my clock is now 3793,4 MHz which means i have underclocked it for 200 and 5 degres wen't down. But i am having in that temp my cpu - computer for about 3 months do you think cpu has or got broken thats why its producing its heat. i still got it in warranty.
EDIT: I have discovered also a CPB which is on 4200 Mhz on all cores ? And i've heard cpus got function in bios to enable / disable that is assuming less power when idling. Problem at me is the CPU is never idling. Probally with that i will find solution.

1. Go into your bios and check if you have turned on AMD Cool and Quiet if you didn't that means you probably are getting high temps cause of that.

2. If you are using the stock heatsink aka the heatsink that came with the cpu check if the thermal paste is dried out. This is what happened to me and I bought my own aftermarket cooler.

3. If are using a aftermarket cooler the thermal paste on the the cooler might be dried leading to high temps

4. If you bought your own heatsink and pit your own thermal paste on it you probaly put too much thermal paste causing it to insulate the heat (also happened to me)

If all else fails you should probaly consider buying a aftermarket cooler

One case fan? Your case must have zero air flow. I have six in each of my four Arc Midi R2's, six in my Lian Li and four in my Corsair 350D.

i don't think so problem is in air condition beacuse cpu on start cannot reach in a min 70 C. I got 2 fans and they are working verry well i think its problem beacuse cpu is always working on 3.80ghz (max) and thats why temp is so high. Even i got turned on Cool n Quiet - but i guess it doesn't work ?

SOLUTION ! : I got 2 system. On windows 8 i don't have program which i can see amd controls and stuff. But i don't think that matters, on Windows 7 the Cool n Quiet works !. My cpu is runing at 1.4 ghz and its temp: 40C ! Thank you all anyway for help.

Best answer helped me now i installed on windows 8.1 catalyst control + you need to change power plan in windows to saving then your cpu will work as neded to asume as less power as possible. Thank you all anyway for taking your time to help me
