a10 7700 k with gtx 660 bottleneck?

I know its stupid with an apu and a dedicated gpu but my main build got shot and died lol. so i have this build and was wondering about bottleneck. and how to avoud if possible.

i have an a10 7700k at 3.6ghz
mobo is msi a88x-g45 gaming
ram is 8 gb 1333 amd performance eddition
power supply corsair 600m
hdd i wont even go there lol

The 7700K is a decent CPU. It should go along with your GTX 660 pretty well. While you won't get full performance, it'll hardly be noticeable.

It will bottleneck just a little bit but should not be too bad

You can overclock the a10 and get high speed memory to try to compensate.
It is the best you can do with the poor situation of trying to not let the a10 hold you back.

i did some benchmarks and i used OC genie 2 and it overclocked my cpu to 4.3ghz but i didnt see any change

The only time overclocking your CPU will give a noticeable gain is when it's giving a bottleneck. Your 7700K will let your GTX 660 stretch it's legs at stock speeds, so overclocking won't give any higher frame rates.

The only performance gain you'll notice is doing things like rendering videos or unzipping RAR files.

alright thank you very much! and another question for the 7700k. is under load 60c pretty good? and 40c idle. i have the hyper v 212

60c under load is good. People start worrying when temperatures approach 75-80, so you're well short of that.
