A10 7800k with a r9 270 and framedrops?

Hi all, I upgraded my cpu from an Athlon x4 740 to an A10 7800k to hopefully work better with the r9 270 card I have.

I thought I could play bf4 at least on high settings with 64 players and still got decent fps.

But that isn't true, I got enormous frame drops from 60 to 15th sometimes.

Does somebody know what could be the problem?

Ow and I have 8gb of ram and a 500w psu.
The gpu temp stays at around 50°c and I just updated the bios and catalyst to the latest versions.

And BTW the monitor is plugged into the gpu 😛

Check out if you can Xfire the IGPU with the 270

Crossfire is only working with another r7 like the apu has

The A10 7800k should give you a few more FPS. The FPS probably dropped to 12 or 13 instead of 15 with the X4 740.
