Hi guys. That's my question.
Should i go for a AMD FX 6300 3.5GHZ + GeForce GTX750Ti 2GB or 7870k+ R7 360 2GB will be a better option ?

The pc's would be this:

1) ASUS A88XM-A
Kingston HyperX Fury 1866 8GB (2x4)
AMD A10 7870k
MSI R7 360 2GB

2) ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3
Kingston HyperX Fury 1866 8GB (2x4)
AMD FX 6300 3.5GHZ
GeForce GTX750Ti

It's primary for Gamming. Both will have 1TB HD.

Thank's a lot

What country are you in? The Athlon X4 860K should be cheaper and as good as the A10 you selected, if it is available in your market. I know the Athlon is unavailable is some countries.

The Athlon is cheaper than the A10 and is essentially an A10 with the iGPU disabled. With a discrete GPU the iGPU is unnecessary.

Im from Argentina, and I can't buy the Athlon. I try to find it but any computer house have it. I think is not available in Argentina.

So, if the gpu will be disable when I connect a discrete GPU (R7 360 un this case) FX 6300 will be the better choice ?

Why you think 7870K is not a good option ? I know it would be better a 7870K with a R7 250, for Dual Graphics but a 7870K with a discrete card is too bad ?
Dual Graphics only activates with R7 240/250 so the R7 360 will disable the iGPU, but a i5 is better than 7870k?

From what I know the i5 have a iGPU too, the HD 4600 right?

Thanks a lot.

If you want best gaming performance, get an i5 and a discrete graphics card. You would be wasting your time with a 7870k as your upgrade path would be very small as it would bottleneck the higher end graphics cards. Whereas an i5 can pretty much handle any card.

The Athlon x4 860k and A10 7870k are basically the same cpu, but the A10 has an igpu and the 860k does not. The problem is you pay an extra $40 or more for the A10's igpu only to not use it. I see it as a waste of money. A 4th or 6th gen i3 would be better than either for similar money. An i5 is best, but a lot more expensive unless you find a used one. Even a dual core Pentium would be competitive with the A10.

Forget all about igpus. Grab an i3 if you can't afford an i5. An i3 + 370 would be better than an i5 + 360

An i3 + 370 might be better than an i5 + 360 for most games at the moment, but in games that are very CPU intensive and in the future the i5 would pull ahead. I would much rather get a i5 and a lower gpu than a lower processor and a better GPU. GPU's are typically upgraded far more often then CPU's, as having a better CPU gives you are far greater upgrade path.

I can buy this PC for almost the same price:
I5-4430 3.0 MHz Haswell S1150
AsRock H81M-VG4 S1150
R7 360 2GB

Do you think is my better choice ? Better than 7870K+R7 or fx6300+R7 ?

Thank u

Great. I will buy that computer with the I5.

Only two questions more:
Does the AsRock H81M-VG4 support 1866MHz ram? Because I read that support only 1600MHz, so with HyperX Fury 1866 2x4 each RAM will downgrade to DDR3 1600 right?

If each RAM will downgrade to DDR3 1600 please recommend me another mother around the same price who can support 1866 whitout overclock.

And the last question is: R7 360 2GB or GeForce Gtx 750 ti?

Sorry for my inglish and than you very much for the help. This will be my first gaming computer.

99% of h81 boards only support 1600mhz ram. Just go with the 1866 ram & let it run at 1600mhz cas 8 - performance will be pretty much identical.

The 360 is slightly stronger than the 750ti (10% or so) - either way you're looking at medium settings for gaming - go with the one that's the best price..
