A2, IDE detected

I'm trying to boot my new build for the first time but I keep getting the A2 error, IDE detected. Any idea on how I could resolve this?

Try unplugging the PC, clearing the cmos/taking out the bios battery and leaving it for a while, then try to turn it back on again.

I removed the SATA cords from my optical drives and that seemed to fix the issue. Not I'm just getting 99 Super IO Initialization!
