No way! I believe it has. It had/has some weight problems, but I thought
they flew the beast already. Probably will have to add a couple JATO rockets
on it to help it take off.

No, the A380 hasn't flown yet, it's first test flight is scheduled for
march.

Roy Batty: I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships
on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the
dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time,
like tears in rain. Time to die.

Can you configure these airliner sims with different gross weights and
simulate in-flight system failures, namely one engine? I hope the A380
never has more than one engine failure at a time!

I've also wanted to find a B-2 simulator and try putting it into a steep
straight and level bank. :)

First test flight is in March. The GE option engines are being test flown
on another aircraft nowish i believe. Give it 18 months to 2 years for
airworthiness and certification provided nothing goes wrong and then wait
until airports have upgraded ready to cope with it and the thing may
actually enter service.

Emirates plan their first A380 flight in Summer 2006 - lets hope they can
stick to it!
