A4 6300 memory type support

I have an A4 6300 CPU and it's specs say it supports 1600Mhz memory but the motherboard an MSI A68HM GRENADE will support 1333Mhz memory as well. The specs for the CPU don't mention 1333Mhz memory. Does this mean I can't use the 1333Mhz memory with this CPU, or can I use the 1333Mhz with no problem. I already have some 1333Mhz memory which would save me a few pennies if I don't have to buy 1600Mhz memory.

1600MT/s is only the maximum officially supported speed. Any slower speeds should also be fine if you don't mind a slight (2-3% typical) performance loss.
