A40s vs ath m50s

I'm not sure what I should get the audio technica ath m50 or the Astro a40s, what one do you recommend and why?

If your gonna spend that much on a headset might as well go with Sennheiser PC 360, HD 598, MMX 300 or AD700. Much more worth it. Then pair it up with a DSS or mixamp.
