OK, this is what I did and I have the same MB with an XP2400+. My machine runs at 2.158 GHz now at 166 (or 333 rather) FSB and is completely stable. The frame rates are truly remarkable. At the BIOS boot up screen it says there is an XP2700+ in there LOL.
1)Go into advanced Chipset settings in the bios.
2)Set CPU External Frequency to <166>
3)Set CPU Frequency Multiple Setting to <Menu>
4)Set CPU Frequency Multiple to <13.0>
5)Set System Performance to <User Defined>
6)Set CPU Interface to <Aggresive>
7)Set Memory Frequency to <100%>
8)Set Memory Timings to <Aggresive>
Depending on the quality and latency of your RAM, this should do it. Keep in mind that you have to double the FSB setting in your bios to get your actual FSB, I.E. if it says 166 then it means 166X2 or 333 FSB.
In your BIOS startup screen when you first boot up the machine it should say <Memory speed 166>.
Hope this helps...
P.S. Prof133 is THE man!!!!
