Hey
I recently upgraded to win2k and everything works
great except that I can't get my ATI expert2000 AGP video
card to work.
I am using an old ATI PCI card and it works fine but as soon
as I change to the AGP card windows crashes at start-up everytime. I am using a A7V mobo with a 1005a bios update and the Windows SP1, Via/AGP fix but nothing helps. Could someone help me with this...? or know a site that would have info about it...? thanks

Asus A7V (1005a)
thunderbird 800
256mb sdram @100
350W power
Ati all-in wonder PCI (works fine)
ATI Expert2000 AGP (doesn't work)
Maxtor ATA66 10G
IBM ATA100 30G
Windows 2000 Pro (with SP1)

Take out the XPert2000, leave the PCI card in.
Go to www.ati.com, download the latest drivers for the XPert 2000, install them.
Shut down your computer, remove the PCI Card and put your XPert 2000 in there. It should work.

Thanks for the help... unfortunately I tried doing that
earlier and I just can't get the new Expert2000 driver to
load without the card being in the comp already... Win2K
doesn't find the card and won't allow me to install the drivers.

Thanks, I tried the win2k fix but that didn't solve
the problem. I'm beggining to wonder if maybe there
is something wrong with my Video card. I think I'll
return it. :)
