A7V lockups

I have an A7V (1003) and I am getting more lockups than is usual. Do you think that this has anything to do with the fact that I have no sound card at all? As soon as I get the x-gamer 5.1, I am going to reinstall Windows to make sure that everything is back to normal.

You might want to try updating everything you can for the A7V. There's the 4-in-1 drivers, the bios, one for the promise ata 100 ide controller(i doubt that one is giving you the problem...) and there's even one for the sound blaster live, when you get it. Try those out, and if they don't help, it could be other software conflicts.
