A8-3850 + AMD Radeon HD 6670

I recently got my new A8 processor.. I put it in, no problems everything works great. But when I tried putting the GPU you my computer would make 6 beep sounds, and some people were saying it's your card.. So I took it off, plugged back in several times. Still nothing, even back tracked installed the drivers before hand, along with the AMD CatalystCenter. But there's no GPU Overdrive and my even with drivers. The GPU still doesn't work... What do??

I guess I should also mention that I have a AAHDZ-HY mobo
and my GPU is a Diamond Radeon 6670 2gb

Your manual should tell you what that specific beep code means.

Does the integrated video work ? The beep codes are usually meant to inform you of a component not working.

The integrated does work. And a damn good job at it, but still don't want to try and stress it..

Still nothing.. possible my graphics card is corrupted? And just plainly wont work

Yes it is possible for any component to be defective and even new parts can be. What's the history of the video card, new or used ?

Used - Like New condition.. As claimed by the seller, from Amazon

Well I guess it's safe to say I should return to seller I suppose..

Don't wait too long, if you've exhausted all trouble shooting options then return it. The 6670 might be in new condition but it is a very old card technology wise.

I believe I have tried every bit of advice people have shared. All leaving me with negative results, all except for that the Diamond product was bad at start
