A8 5500: Looking at r9270x and the gtx 760

Will either of these cards be notably bottlenecked by my cpu (apu)?

If so, what would likely be my best choice in gpus without upgrading the cpu? I'm starting to save up for a new pc build, but in the mean time, I want to get something to hold me over.

If not, which card would you personally recommend? I've seen the 270 seems to have overall higher numbers, but the 760 seems to outperform it in all benchmarks. I also don't know too much about the Nvidia vs. AMD game, but it seems like most games are optimized for Nvidia.

both will be bottlenecked.
as the 760 uses a bit less power, that one gets my recommendation.

however, you should get whichever is the cheaper one.

no. "noticeable" would be an understatement.

we... i meant that the upgrade from the gt 740 will be very noticeable.

Ohhh.. Excellent. Just picked up a 760 for 150, and a Corsair 600w psu. Thanks a lot!

er.. what model corsair psu? of it's from either the vs series or cx series, get a better quality psu like evga g2 or seasonic s12g or xfx 550 ts types. corsair's vs, gs and cx series are entry level psus often built using low end components.
