A8 6600k proccesor keeps overheating!

I have a cooler master hyper 212 evo and the processor keeps going to around 70c! I dont know what else to do could you help me out?

70C isn't exactly overheating. Unless you meant that was your idle temperatures.

Make sure the cooler is installed correctly. With your fingers, press down on the cooler and see if the increased pressure leads to better contact between the CPU and the heatsink - you should see an immediate temperature drip. If so, then you know there is an issue with the cooler installation.

I was just on the windows 8 start menu doing nothing is that considered idle?
