Hi guys, I'm building a pc for home use (office, web surfing, eg.) and I don't know whether I should pick the a8 7600 or the g3220. Let me start by saying that paying 40$ for the difference isn't a big problem, what should I do? I know that for what I do with the pc the difference isn't that big, but I am trying to build a solid computer, fast and reactive.
Thank you a lot for the help.

Again it is helpful to know all this. Relative prices and availability are totally different in Italy, and Euros are very different to Dollars. We can give good answers only when we have good information.

CPU: AMD A8-6600K 3.9GHz Quad-Core Processor (€89.10 @ Amazon Italia)
Motherboard: ASRock FM2A88M EXTREME4+ Micro ATX FM2+ Motherboard (€42.95 @ Amazon Italia)
Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury Blue 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory (€39.48 @ Amazon Italia)
Storage: Crucial BX200 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (€69.00 @ Amazon Italia)
Power Supply: Antec EarthWatts Green 380W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX...
What kind of budget do you have for this? Personally, I would recommend an i3 for the performance, low power consumption and longevity of the system. That being said, if you're doing very light tasks, the G3220 would work fine and you would always have the option of upgrading it later.

Well I was hoping to spend about 350$ and the i3 is kind of expensive.
I have all figured out but the cpu (and so the motherboard). The tasks I do are essentially web surfing (tons of pages at the same time), office, music, and this kind of stuff.

This is good, older tech, that is very upgradable and will be fore many years, to allow for re-purposing or changes when your needs change without scrapping the whole thing.

Fill it up with parts later :)

I would personally go with a WiFi capable mITX system in the OP's circumstance, but it is a bit over budget.

I've built in this case and its a good choice and cool, if a bit 'boxy'.

If you don't already have a SSD, I would get one anyway. A solid state drive makes more of a difference in day-to-day use than upgrading from a Pentium to an i7 would.

I personally like DonkeyOatie's ITX build a lot, and without the Windows license, OP can fit an i3 into the budget, maybe even a Skylake i3.

That would have been nice to know from the start.

Then save some money and go with this.

I'd spend a some of your 'spare' money on a better PSU incase you wanted to use this for gaming later.

Wow, I really appreciate your effort in making me a better build :D I'm afraid I left out a few things, so let me fix it: my real budget is somewhere between 270 and 300 (the other 50 I need to use for other tools and the case, which I'll buy from a friend of mine). So here's the build I thought:

So help me make this build better without adding to much money (I'm from italy, things cost a little more).

Now, what I'm trying to achieve is a fast a responsive pc that I can use for simple thing. I'm not planning to use games or other heavy stuff. Thanks a lot to all of you for the patient and the help!

Your design, more expensive, but better. You could get a CPU cooler later and overclock if that proved necessary.

Your needs are very 'light' at the moment, so you could go even cheaper. I'm reluctant to go there because the future always seems to be more demaninding and when needs change, they are rarely to less than what we need now.
