Hello everyone firstly I want to thank the community for all the awesome answers I have received through the years this is my to go forum for practically everything.

So I have a question about my current configuration which is as follows:

RAM: 8GB @1600Mhz Kingston Hyper X Fury Blue
APU: AMD A8-7600 Kavier
GPU: Sapphire OC R7 260X 2GB GDDR5
HDD: WD 750GB Black Caviar
OS: Windows 10 Pro
PSU: Acteck 650w Atx Edge
MB: ECS Essentials A58F2P-M4

Now there is some obvious compromises and it is still a work in progress, I am not an Intel or Nvidia fan, my concern here is the APU and the GPU now the APU runs 4 cpu cores as I am sire all are aware, with 6 gpu cores however I am have the understanding that the 260X does not support the hybrid dual graphics configuration withe the APU and GPU so am I wasting those 6 GPU cores or what are they doing if not working with the graphics card are they at idle or do they have a purpose.
I am on a budget but what would be an Ideal MB and CPU/CPU to work with I have a 970 Nova Bench rating which was disappointing I was considering going back with the FX BE CPU line from AMD winth an ASUS MB. this system has so far cost me about 750 USD.

So again thanks in advance for all the advice.

You are right, using an APU with a 260X will leave the APU's graphics power unused. I would replace the APU with an AMD Athlon 860K for $75 and keep everything else. Then, you get powerful CPU cores combined with a powerful GPU and no wasted potential. Considering how much power your PSU has, you should try overclocking both CPU and GPU for even more power!
