A8 7650K vs A6 6420K

Hi,

I have a choice between the AMD A8 7650K or the AMD A6 6420K

• 
  ■ The A8 is Quad Core, 3.3Ghz and has 1 MB/core of l2 cache
  ■ The A6 is Dual Core 4.0Ghz and has 0.5 MB/core of l2 cache
  ■ They have a Turbo clock speed of 3.8GHz and 4.2GHz respectively

The most CPU intensive thing i will do is run Visual Studio/Android Studio on one screen and Chrome (with several tabs on the other). I don't play games.

Go with the A8. Why are those the only two options?

Not custom building it. Process of elimination from the other components + good deal. Thanks for your help.
