sooo im buying a store pc
yea yea i know that sucks but my parents are paying it and they dont want me putting it together.

anyways,onto business.
so they gave me a budget of around 300$ and i found a pc with a8 7670k and Radeon TM HD 8570D graphics ( my country has ridiculous pricing, standard newegg prices would be sales prices here ).

i've never dealt with amd or their gpus so i gotta ask.
as far as i know 8570d is not integrated (please correct me if im wrong),so that means that i basically get dual graphics right?
if so,will that improve the performance when playing games? i intend to play stuff like xcom 2, mount and blade 2 bannerlord, witcher 3, ac4 black flag etc.

i dont have anything against playing any of these on low settings, but am really interested if im getting dual graphics or not and how will it affect the performance when playing these.

also,it comes with a single 8 gb ddr3 1600 mhz stick, but i've read that with apus its better to have dual channel than single channel,is that so?

specs are as follows
a8 7670k
Spire FM2 CERTIFIED CPU FAN & HEATSINK
amd a68 mobo (not saying which one)
radeon TM HD 8570d
1 TB, SATA II, 7200 rpm (not saying which one)
420W psu

First of all, that's nowhere near a gaming APU. In fact, no APUs are very good at gaming. You want a dedicated CPU for that. APUs are basically CPUs and GPUs in the same package. Because of this, the CPU part of the APU is weaker than even the AMD FX lineup, which has been dead for years now.

Second, that graphics card is more than what's recommended for that APU. The APU may not be powerful enough to properly drive the card.

Third, single channel will really hold back an APU, intensifying the CPU bottleneck.

Fourth, most prebuilt PCs come with absolutely atrocious PSUs. If you ever want to do an upgrade, you'll be buying a new PSU first which basically means more money spent and less money left over for what you wanted to upgrade...

I don't recommend buying this machine.

What country do you live in and what is your budget?

Also, I suggest having a discussion with your parents. When I built my first PC, I had nothing to go by except for common sense. "Oh look, this connector matches this slot, I bet this goes here." That was about my knowledge when I started out. I never needed to take to the forums because the manuals that came with my hardware was more than enough for me to figure out what I was doing when it came time to configure the system for first use.

Thanks to advances in technology, assembling computers is no real challenge at all anymore. In all honesty, it's more like LEGOs for big kids.

I live in Croatia, aaand around 360$ is the maximum amount

i know psu would be awful but when i find a pc that has 500w the other stuff is junk and the psu is still probably going to be junk only with 500w
also i dont think i will be upgrading this bcaus it would void the warranty,i was thinking more like stashing some money in the next few months and buying a real pc and letting the rest of the household have their way with this one..
thanks for the lesson on apus :D

i did try to explain to them that its both easy and better if i put it together,i even said ill just pick the parts and give it to the people at the store so that they asemble it,but nooooo, the fact that i asembled like 6 pcs for my friends so far makes no difference, ours must have 5 year waranty cuz it could break down on its own after 4.99 years in which case we can send it to the shop for a free repair -.- bcaus that makes sense

Your parents sound like they care more about their money than pleasing their child xD

I have never looked for computers in Croatia, what sites do I even start with? Do these sites have English variants? I don't know any Croatian at all.

Also, after another five years even Skylake will have become obsolete. What use would there be in repairing an FM2 based machine?
