I couldn't get any responses in the mobo section so I'll try it here.

I'm completely happy with my processor until I get into Photoshop. I've OC'ed up to 2.7 but once I go past stock, Prime95 doesn't run stable after 8 or 9 hours. I accidently corrupted my BIOS and had to reload it once already, so I'm quite leery of doing that again.

Do any of you guys have experience overclocking on this board, or do I need to just sell it and go by a DFI LANParty board? I'm going to need the punch because my computer needs to last me another 3 years and the only other upgrades that I plan on doing are a huge monitor for my CAD and a second X1900XTX.

If anyone wants to give me a recommendation on other top notch full Crossfire x16 OC boards, shoot.

I know I've got the RAM will OC and my processor is very capable of around 2.75. I'm only looking to get around 2.5-2.6

Your system specs look pretty good. Just OC it up to 2.6 and you should be OK.

That's up for debate for now. I'm having teething issues with XP Pro and one lone virus. I can't run Prime95 for long enough to test the stability of my overclocks because my computer has taken to restarting itself in the past couple of weeks.

I was on 2.42 running dual Prime95 stable before my computer restarted.

It was running for about 10 hours in Prime95 stable on both cores at 2.4 today before the system crashed. That is a plus at least. I'll see what I can do about clearing out the CMOS tomorrow.

Muwahaha!!! Trojan horse eliminated!! I'm now priming stably at 2.53 and aiming to increase that a bit more if it holds steady. My board is actually performing better than expected.
