A8's 5600k igpu

Hello,

am planning to buy a pc intended for gaming, however i don't intend to pair it with a dedicated graphics card because i am on budget and will instead utilise the a8's apu which is 7540d.

will the igpu of the amd's a8 5600k outperfoms the mid-low end discrete graphics card? please enlighten me on this matter.

AMD A8 5600K has a 7560D

Which is in par with 7800GTX or 540M
Its a little better than Intel HD 4000

This Integrated GPU would allow you to play games Smoothly.

But don't have much Expectations with it.

One thing there is to know about these igpu's is that rely almost COMPLETELY upon the speed of the system memory. NCIX's Linus did a test comparison and ram with 1833MHz clock was better by 15FPS in most games he tested (Black ops and bad company 2) using they 1833MHz ram he was able to get 50 fps in black ops on the highest resolution and could only get 28 with the 1066MHz ddr3 ram so the igpu on the a8 and the a10 is basically NOT THAT POWERFUL *UNLESS* You give it a higher ram clock to work on! i cannot possibly put in words how important it is to have fast ram. Get 8GB DDR3 2133MHz or 1866MHz dont go for the 16GB one's anything below 1866MHz is useless when it comes to those APU's
