Evening guys, I just bought a new laptop and its not meant for heavy gaming since I only play light games such as Dota2 etc, now I really dont know much about computers so I guess this is where you guys maybe try to answer my query. Basically I compared my laptop specs to check if i can run a certain game and im getting confused as I donot meet this certain requirment but only by a margin as you can see below i copy pasted this :

Recommended: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2GB / AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB
You Have: GeForce 820M
Features: Recommended attributes of your Video Card
Required You Have
Icon Pixel Shader version 5.0 5.0
Icon Vertex Shader version 5.0 5.0
Icon Dedicated Video RAM 2 GB 1.9 GB
It says that I have 1.9gb whereas it says its 2gb, will this affect me in a way that I wont be able to run the game properly?

CPU
Recommended: Intel Core i5 3470 @ 3.2GHZ (4 CPUs) / AMD X8 FX-8350 @ 4GHZ (8 CPUs)
You Have: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-5500U CPU @ 2.40GHz
Now this is confusing, its saying that I donot have a good enough CPU and again my knowledge about computers is very limited, this test was for GTA V but dont you think my core i7 is enough to run this game whereas its saying that it cant.
These are my basic computer specs:
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-5500U CPU @ 2.40GHz
Video Card 1 NVIDIA GeForce 820M
Video Card 2 Intel(R) HD Graphics 5500
Memory 8.1 GB.
English is not my first language guys so please pardon me and any help will be appreciated thank you.

Can you tell me the name of your video game plz?

OK first of all your i7 CPU is a dual core with 2 more virtual cores where modern games requires a native quad core cpu, even if you have 1.9 gb instead of 2 gb in your gpu the chipset 820m is much much much weaker then the gtx 660 its not about the ram, its about rop units and texture units which processes your images, your 820m has very very low power in processing data where the gtx 660 is a mid level videocard which means it has some processing power. On short your notebook will run only very light games, everything else will not open or if it opens it will run under 10 fps.

EDIT: In notebooks i3,i5 and most of the i7 (except extreme edition) are dual cores, where in desktop i3 is dual core, i5 is a quad core and i7 is a quad core with 4 more virtual cores (8 threads in total).

Let me clear things up here :
You will be able to run gta 5, but not on high
the i7 5500U is indeed worse than the i5 3470, but you will still be able to run the game

Yes but it has a 820m which is worst or on par with intel hd. That is dragging him down.

Ah i see, I dont intend to use this for heavy gaming but this will run multiplayer games such as World of warcraft etc without a problem right? And also will it run games such as gtaV fine on low-med settings even tho I dont intend to play em but just for my knowledge sake.

Yup
