Abit 8.7 error code and 1 long 3 short beep code

So I brought in an old office computer and the first day it worked just fine, the next it didn't start anymore tho, I'm getting the 8.7 CPU voltage error and the 1 long 3 short beep error from it. Nothing changed in it since the first day.

Some things to note would be that
1.the fans seem to spin at full speed when I try to boot it and they stay full speed for the ~5 seconds it stays running before giving me the errors
2.it has 8gb of RAM installed, but when I looked into control panel the first day it read just 4gb
3.there's a red LED beside the motherboard power intake that stays on, when I boot it up a green one light up beside it too
4.it's not dusty at all and the wiring looks good, I've checked everything down to the motherboard manual
5.I already tried mixing up the RAM sticks in different amounts
6.sometimes when I boot it the fan speed is low/normal but still doesn't boot...

Please help I'm tired and clueless ;-/

1) 8.7 error code. Try clear the CMOS to reset the voltage.
2) 1 long 3 short beep code. Try to use other keyboard, or other USB port if the keyboard is the USB type.

Turns out my CPU power cable was destroyed (the ATX) so no power was indeed going to the CPU...old rig after all
Shoulda checked that thing earlier
